Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern access to this website and any digital publication purchased through it. Use of the site indicates acceptance of them.
Eligibility
The site and its publications are offered to adults aged 18 or over. Accounts, purchases, and correspondence by anyone under 18 are not accepted.
Licence to use publications
Purchase of a digital publication grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it for private, non-commercial purposes. Redistribution, resale, public posting, or use as training data for a machine learning system is not permitted without written permission.
Intellectual property
Text, layout, and graphics on this site are the property of Common Hour unless credited otherwise. Cited research remains the property of its authors and publishers; citation here is for reference and commentary and implies no ownership or endorsement.
No professional relationship
Material published here is general reading about published research. It is not therapy, counselling, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship of any kind. Decisions about personal circumstances are matters for a qualified professional consulted directly.
No outcome claims
No result of any kind is promised, warranted, or implied by the sale or reading of any publication. Research findings are reported with their stated limits and are not offered as a method, system, or protocol that produces an outcome.
Accuracy
Content is prepared with care and reviewed against its sources, and is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of completeness. Research is revised over time and a described study may be superseded after publication here. Corrections are welcomed at support@commonhour.site.
Availability
Continuous availability of the site is not warranted. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside the imprint’s control.
Third-party links
Links to journals and other external resources are provided for reference. The imprint does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Payments and disputes
Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms. Where a charge is disputed, contacting support@commonhour.site first is normally faster than a chargeback, and refunds within the stated window are issued without argument under the refunds policy. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected by this paragraph.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the imprint is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or its publications. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Where a consumer resides elsewhere, the mandatory consumer protections of that jurisdiction continue to apply.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the revision date below indicates the current version. Purchases are governed by the version in force at the time of purchase.
